BASIC/DEPT® 2026Creative direction and visual design for Google’s Black Friday and Holiday campaign. The ecosystem ranged from .com, Store exterior graphics, Print, Retail, and Social. Our challenge was to create a campaign for both moments that shared the same visual thread for a seamless shift from Black Friday into Holiday.

Our key visual for both campaigns was a graphic ribbon; a textural ribbon for Black Friday and an alluring ribbon for Holiday. Togetherness was the sentiment we wanted to create for these moments, spending time with our favorite people – sharing traditions, making new ones, and enjoying each moment together.
